Paris Hilton Talks Business

A crowd of die hard fans and the merely curious waited for as long as nine hours to Paris Hilton to make its appearance Saturday at Macy's South County Center.

Paris Hilton arrived an hour later for the 1 pm event, but nobody seemed to mind.

But before meeting the crowd of more than 700 buyers, gawkers and squealers,
Paris Hilton met with journalists on the point of his first visit to St. Louis: to promote his latest perfume, CanCan Paris Hilton.

Sporting a long chin-blond bob, eye shadow stones, a costume designer and high-rise orange pumps, she also talked about her new line of shoes, his personality and his new film.

Paris Hilton, 27, said she would not be happy to avoid the spotlight or living outside his legacy.

"I feel very proud every day all that I have, I came on my own and I do not need to ask for anything and I make my own choices. There is a lot of freedom to the extent where, "said Hilton.
She said growing up with a famous family name and a grandfather emblematic (bosses Barron Hilton) inspired her to do more than rely on family laurels.

Bryant Storey, 16, a student at Oakville Senior High School, was the first in line for an autograph Hilton. He does not have a job, so his father, who is also a fan
Paris Hilton, bought the fragrance collection, which has earned him an excellent spot. (The first 300 customers to purchase a special package of Paris Hilton's fragrance collection for $ 153 to $ 181 during a pre-sales have received a special pass to meet Hilton and receive a photo of his signature.)

Mr. Bryant said he wanted
Paris Hilton wish a belated happy birthday (it was February 17). And he said that he would not give his collection perfume, it is also to keep all the memories.

"It's not that many people a chance to meet
Paris Hilton in person. That is why I am here," Bryant said. "Some of my friends are not like her, but I think that it is really cool. "

Next in line was Danny Reiter, 9, of South County, who said he was a fan of horror film of the Hilton, "House of Wax". He said he did not know much else about
Paris Hilton, except that it is famous. Demanda if he knew she often gets into trouble for his antiques, he looked wide-eyed and stunned. "No, I did not know that," Danny replied.

Karen Garcia, also of South County, had arrived at the gallery just for shopping and was surprised that the would appear.

"I think I can be a lady and not say what I really think of him," Garcia, 51, said. "She is a very pretty girl with the world at her feet, but I do not think it is a very good role model."

Paris Hilton, who, after the Macy's event was led to a summons to the Home Nightclub at the Ameristar Casino in St. Charles, said that there are many things that people do not know about it. And some of what they think they know is wrong.

She said she has developed a thick skin over the years but always prided itself on being nice.

Its latest efforts include a line of shoes which was launched in Macy's, two weeks ago, a new movie "Repo, genetics Opera!", A horror-rock co-star Sarah Brightman, which opens the Next week, and a new reality television series on MTV Who will be announced Monday.

"You only live once, and I am having a great time," said
Paris Hilton.
